App Review: Evernote

Student ministry is one that requires a lot of various information at various times throughout the day.  Whether it be information from an article that you recently read, a great quote that you need to use, or a list of students that are participating in the next event.  So how do we keep all this information organized and readily available?

A great solution that many have found and use is Evernote. It is a convergent app that keeps your information on the Evernote servers, but has a PC & Mac application as well as for the iOS, Blackberry, Android, WebOS, and Windows Mobile so that you can access your information easily.

Basically it gives its user all their information that they've filed away in an easily editable form, whenever they need it, from wherever they are at as long as they have internet access. The user can even store their information away in folders.

The uses are endless:

  • article cataloging
  • sound bytes
  • store images/photos
  • sermon preparation
  • event participant listing
  • and so much more.....
And did I mention that it's free? They do have a paid option, but most people can live easily within the free version.  Give it a try and let us know what you think in the comments below.
